The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it is alarmed regarding the higher number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area each day. The services point created for intervention ordeals a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who sassa status visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to enable the sassa status check servicing of all prospects and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
